What tests should be performed on parasites, signs, medication

diagnosis of the presence of parasites in the body

Parasites in the body exist at the expense of the trace elements and food in our intestines. There are many varieties of them. The most common are tapeworms, worms, trichophytosis and trichocephalus. Depending on the abundance of parasite species, the symptoms of problems in humans also vary. For example, there are parasites that leave us hungry by eating the food we eat, others cause anemia when they feed on blood cells, and others cause itching and insomnia when they put their eggs in the body. Therefore, in the treatment of parasites, the most important thing is to reveal the root cause (parasite) that is causing our body to get into trouble.

Signs of the presence of parasites in the body

  • the appearance of constipation or diarrhea, possibly other signs of intestinal dysfunction;
  • diarrhea when traveling in other countries;
  • altered bowel function after food poisoning;
  • have trouble sleeping, often wake up;
  • there are spots on the skin that are not associated with allergies or other similar skin conditions;
  • grit your teeth while sleeping;
  • there is aching pain in the joints and muscles;
  • fatigue, frequent depression, and intermittent apathy;
  • feels hungry after a meal, no satiety;
  • there was anemia due to iron deficiency.

As we can see, the symptoms are completely different, and people attribute some of them to other diseases and may not even think about parasites.

How to identify the parasite

First, pay attention to how you feel, what specifically causes anxiety. If you have intestinal problems, be it constipation or diarrhea, restless sleep, itchy skin, muscle aches, you should see a doctor. In the presence of parasites, any difficulty with the body is associated with the release of toxins, which affects the normal functioning of the human body. Disrupted sleep and squeaking of teeth are signs of anxiety as the body talks about the problem. Stool analysis remains the main method for detecting parasites. However, a distinction is made between the standard analysis and the detailed analysis used in the treatment of functional disorders. Their main difference is in accuracy. Standard analysis can only identify a parasite if it is live and active. Then, if the pest is dead or in hibernation due to the end of its life cycle, the standard method will not work. The result will be negative and you can be sure that you do not have any harmful microorganisms, although this will not be the case. There is no such problem in a detailed analysis as it uses a polymerase chain reaction method. The method allows the parasite to be identified in any of its states and does not depend on the ability of the laboratory assistant to see the pest through a microscope. Thanks to this approach, patients who receive a negative standard analysis after PCR will be surprised to learn about unwanted "roommates, " which will allow them to solve the problem with their health later on.

Treatment methods

The method of treatment required will be prescribed by your doctor upon receipt of the test result. The course of the prescribed medications depends on what kind of parasite you have found, because what destroys one pest does not affect the other at all. However, there are cases where the harmful microorganism cannot be identified, the doctor will prescribe a mixture of different herbs. The most common are magnesia, tribulus extract, barberry and grapefruit extract, annual wormwood infusion, walnut extract and bearberry extract. All of these ingredients are sold in pharmacies. The mixtures work by creating bacteria that have a beneficial effect on the intestinal tract and that is why they fight microorganisms that are harmful to us. If you have had liver disease or excessive alcohol, talk to your doctor, or stop using herbs or reduce the frequency and number of doses. Remember, most parasites can be identified and removed. Pass the test in time, follow all the instructions of your doctor and your health is guaranteed!
